Dream See Do is an online community that enables students to discover, explore and sample a range of career possibilities based on their interests and skills.
With our beta web application, students can see a range of job types, titles and associated people, simply by inputting their interests. They can then explore these careers through the lens of others’ real world experiences and the narratives of their career and life paths. We have tested this app with kids across high schools in Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx, with a consistently positive response and desire for more features. We also ran a 4 month design and prototyping session with students at Avenues in Manhattan, to understand their needs for career experiences, like internships, job shadows and mentoring, while in school.
Our intention with the Big Apps prize would be to continue to iterate and advance this technology, as we continue to help students across all NYC schools. We are inviting local career professionals to add their stories, and will be creating experiential learning challenges and internships with local companies.

Jeremy Berman
Co Founder & CEO
Jeremy is a seasoned technologist and creative strategist, with 15 years of cross-industry entrepreneurial, non-profit and corporate leadership experience.
Jeremy was a founding faculty member at General Assembly, crafting and teaching entrepreneurship classes as well as a mentor to many hackathons.
Jeremy held a leadership position at the Queens Library system and consults with the Hive Learning Network focusing on connected learning and building technology that support graduation rates, while bridging school to career.
Josh Schwartzman
Co Founder & CTO
Josh works on all product development, creative product and business strategy. He builds primarily in Ruby on Rails and iOS.
Most recently he built an online incubator called nReduce, where 4000+ entrepreneurs connected and learned from peers and mentors over weekly video check-ins as they built their businesses.
He is a lifelong learner, design thinker and avid world traveler.
